OK, that seemed to work fairly well... one minor problem: if I copy the schematic without copying the air, then the hollow roots of the tree get filled with whatever was in the ground at the time. If I copy it with the 'copy air' option ticked, then it seems to dig itself a huge chunk-sized square hole in which it floats. Is there an option in between that will allow me to insert it into existing terrain, but keep the roots hollow?

Sadly, this design has been retired. The Goliath is roughly a successor to it, although its a very different design. And they only ever made one Goliath, for reasons that will become clear in the Airship Pirates video series.
