What is it?:
This is a village in a tree. i could explain a lot more if i could but no, that is it, a village in a tree.
*The schematic is very easy to implant anywhere you want to, thanks to the roots.

In this project contains:
-The big tree
- The village(with interior) in the tree
It seems the file has corrupted over time. Wouldn't download anymore. |

Nice! Sugg: Add steps inside one of the upper trunks into the Leaves levels and make couple observation decks! |

I put this on a 1.6.4 server I run and for some reason I can't figure out it gives terrible lag to anyone inside the village area. any ideas? |

figured it out. it was the biomes'plenty mod pixies junking the place up. They started spawning around the tree for some reason. disabled and all is well. |

This tree is awesome! I'm using WorldEdit on a local Bukkit server with 3Gb allocated to Java, and it seems to kill the server when pasting (timeout). That said, when I reconnect, the tree is there. I'm kind of new to WorldEdit, and when I //paste the schematic, it places the tree way up in the sky (much higher than my current position in the map)... what's the best way to place it such that the roots are in the ground? |

OK, that seemed to work fairly well... one minor problem: if I copy the schematic without copying the air, then the hollow roots of the tree get filled with whatever was in the ground at the time. If I copy it with the 'copy air' option ticked, then it seems to dig itself a huge chunk-sized square hole in which it floats. Is there an option in between that will allow me to insert it into existing terrain, but keep the roots hollow? Cheers Charlie |

Agree with 5rrrr - I was able to plant this tree easily with McEdit. The tree casts a large shadow at the bottom - had mobs spawning half way up the tree. I'm using it in a mixed biome with a massive forest with paths at top level - small quest going on the locate certain objects and return them to the base within the top of the tree - works a treat - looks great, fantastic effort |
