Oh, I also have other mods in my world (such as enhanced biomes) could that possibly be the issue? Enhanced biomes has villages that spawn in the different biomes, but does that possibly stop the villagers and items from being spawned from your schematics in these different biomes?

I have a slight dilema. I have downloaded the schematics (I use world edit to put them in my single player world) but the villagers and items do not load... Is there any fix for this? I'd really love to be able to see the villagers and items.

Looked beautiful in MCedit but couldn't manage to load it in minecraft. Not sure why. Even re created the chunks underneath it still wouldn't load. :(

Village in a Tree

OK, that seemed to work fairly well... one minor problem: if I copy the schematic without copying the air, then the hollow roots of the tree get filled with whatever was in the ground at the time. If I copy it with the 'copy air' option ticked, then it seems to dig itself a huge chunk-sized square hole in which it floats. Is there an option in between that will allow me to insert it into existing terrain, but keep the roots hollow?

I'll try that... I guess I can copy the world off the server, edit it locally (on a more powerful machine, too), and then copy it back to the server. Time to learn MCEdit :)
