Medium Greek-esque Quartz Temple on September 9th, 2021 12:01 PM EST
Just to make it clear, the IMSM creators explicitly state that using the structures for own creations is allowed and desired.
Medium Greek-esque Quartz Temple on June 26th, 2018 09:36 AM EST
By the way, to be honest, the towers and the animal pen are the only custom things that really look in place. And the trap, maybe.
Village PLUS on June 22nd, 2018 08:57 AM EST
UPDATE: Several months after I downloaded, I still didn't come up with a proper maze layout for this. That shape is very interesting to use, but also kinda weird to work with :-/
Tomb of the Pharao on June 22nd, 2018 08:53 AM EST
Welp, kinda saw that coming after seeing your Zombie Trap. Lesson learned, I'll stop getting my hopes up that one of your "traps" might be a dungeon.
Spider Trap Wall on June 22nd, 2018 08:41 AM EST
From what it looks like, it would work perfectly for Ruins. Not sure what WorldSchematics works like, but if it's somewhat similar to Ruins it should be fine.
Sandstone Pyramid with Maze on October 29th, 2017 02:18 PM EST
That's so large I can't even load it, let alone paste it :-(
Would really like to give a review, but for now I can't, sorry.
Pyramid of Giza on October 29th, 2017 01:45 PM EST
I dug a secret passage below the temple, that leads to a Nether Portal because why not. Also improved the lightning remover. In my version it can turn lightnings on and off. (Did it by just changing the command to something that does nothing when off, and changing it back when on. Can be done by running blockdata on the command block at the clock.)
Ender Temple on October 29th, 2017 01:42 PM EST
I noticed that it actually does have loot. It also has a small puzzle. However, you can simply flip all levers and get tons of diamond. I'd recommend putting stuff behind the "wrong" levers, not exactly TNT but rather command blocks that give the player negative effects, spawn monsters out of nowhere, stuff like that. That's actually what I did after placing it in my actual map.
Lucasgold Temple (Desert version) on October 29th, 2017 01:29 PM EST
Like I expected, the underground part is a little... flat, and not quite... dungeon-esque.
Stonehenge secrets on October 29th, 2017 01:20 PM EST
Even with Spectator Mode, I found nothing to actually loot. That slightly disappointed me.
Ancient Temple of Old Kings on October 29th, 2017 01:18 PM EST
Epic temple. I covered up the trapdoors and placed some Witch spawners in the basement. Now, it's amazingly hostile.
Fire Temple on October 29th, 2017 01:15 PM EST
In my edit, the TNT trap is no TNT trap (instead, it's a Potion Effect trap), and all chests have some loot. I literally had nothing to improve otherwise.
Default Desert Temple Supreme on October 29th, 2017 01:12 PM EST
Looks very cool, but... free loot :-( Well, just free loot would be OK, but it's A LOT of free loot. Unfortunately too much free loot for Dungeon Brawling.
Well, you never said it were suitable. And a few spawners should be enough to fix that.
Evil Shrine on October 29th, 2017 01:07 PM EST
After trying it out, I decided I slightly dislike the concept of "just a TNT trap and no stuff around it", and added a backroom with spawners. Also removed the TNT trap and replaced it with command blocks. The first one gives the player a Wither effect (tested it, on Easy you survive with one single heart) and the second one enables a clock that spawns about one Zombie per second. That gives players a slight chance of collecting the diamonds, while letting it still be a trap.
Ruins Trap on October 29th, 2017 01:00 PM EST
This one is quite as good as expected. I placed an ore block (I think it was Lapis) on the very top, so people can swim up and harvest it.

Side note: I once accidentally pasted it a second time while exploring it. The outcome looked surprisingly good as well. I improved the connecting edge a little and made a scan of it, if I happen to upload it I'll link back here.
Desert Temple v2 on October 29th, 2017 12:41 PM EST
Tried it out, and was glad to find it isn't a TNT trap at all. Not even too mean in my Dungeon Brawling setup. I wish I could find the Schematic Converter of the Ruins Mod (for 1.8), having these spawn naturally would be really cool.
Trap Smal Dungeon on October 29th, 2017 12:36 PM EST
I tried multiple times, and the temple seems to be not present. Unless you count the upside-down spire part for temple. There was already regular floor below it, but the temple won't seem to appear.
Or is it made of 1.9+ blocks? I don't consider the features from 1.9 onward worth setting up yet another Forge, so 1.8 is the last version I have WorldEdit on.
Hidden Temple under Spire on October 29th, 2017 12:30 PM EST
This was 1.8 safe if I don't misremember?
Original Minecraft Igloo on October 13th, 2017 12:32 PM EST
I'll use this as an ordinary fountain.
Op Bedwars Bed defence on October 13th, 2017 12:30 PM EST
I'll modify the loot. Otherwise not bad.
Complex Puzzle! on October 13th, 2017 12:25 PM EST
Mob farm. It sounded like a dungeon you get dropped in :-(
Zombie Trap on October 13th, 2017 12:24 PM EST
And oh crap, by "can be avoided" you probably mean breaking the TNT? Well, if you break TNT with the Ruins mod active, it might get primed...
Trap Smal Dungeon on October 13th, 2017 12:21 PM EST
Thanks for providing all the information necessary. You're one of the few who actually post the version.
Trap Smal Dungeon on October 13th, 2017 12:20 PM EST
That's clearly the pyramid from IMSM. Not sure if you're possibly the one who contributed it, or you're just claiming it as your own.
Schematic #6274 on October 13th, 2017 12:18 PM EST
Looking forward to checking out the temple.
Hidden Temple under Spire on October 13th, 2017 12:08 PM EST
This looks amazing. Let's fill this with a maze, as always. (No pun intended.)
Tomb of the Pharao on October 13th, 2017 12:06 PM EST
EDIT: The copyright part was directed to everyone.
Desert Temple v2 on October 13th, 2017 12:04 PM EST
This is really crazy. You basically turned the desert temple into a village of sorts.
As of the copyright, it's a good policy to assume the usual "give credit and it's fine" unless someone says something different.
Desert Temple v2 on October 13th, 2017 12:03 PM EST
EDIT: If you do some custom stuff to that temple, it gets better again. Some person actually remade all the area below the desert temples. That's cool.
Sand Pyramid on October 13th, 2017 11:59 AM EST
Those are called desert temples. It's OK to upload Vanilla structures, but it's boring. People want something new, not just the Vanilla stuff they see all day.
Sand Pyramid on October 13th, 2017 11:57 AM EST
Ohoho, that trap is in as well? That's gonna be fun...
Or actually, I'll change it, and keep the one I place elsewhere the way it is. It will still be a trap, don't worry. Or actually, that's a reason to worry.
Village PLUS on October 13th, 2017 11:55 AM EST
EDIT: Just noticed the words "fall for it". Literally? We shall see.
Ruins Trap on October 13th, 2017 11:53 AM EST
Using in a private Dungeon Brawling map. Let's see how many of my friends fall for it...
Ruins Trap on October 13th, 2017 11:52 AM EST
That fire made it look so promising to be hostile :-(
Templo on October 13th, 2017 11:49 AM EST
This is cool. However I can only hope you just used trapped chests, instead of the comparator trick. Otherwise I can probably say goodbye to parts of the map.
If anyone wonders what comparator trick I refer to: Chests of any kind emit a "comparator signal", as I call it (because comparators turn it into a Redstone signal), when they have some content. So, if you attach a comparator to a chest, negate the output, and attach a TNT to the result, the TNT will blow up once the last item is removed from the chest. Also works with furnaces and other containers.
Default Desert Temple Supreme on October 13th, 2017 11:42 AM EST
How does that make him a cheater? People even share the vanilla structures and that's perfectly legit. He did a bit of work to modify it, others don't even do that. My Jungle Temple edit where the area of the levers is replaced with an inactive Erebus Portal would be considered legit as well, after all.
Water Temple on October 13th, 2017 11:31 AM EST
Not downloading, but memorized the color scheme. Good job!
Red Desert Temple on October 13th, 2017 11:26 AM EST
The way Minecraft calls it is not his fault ;-)
Red Desert Temple on October 13th, 2017 11:25 AM EST
Can't wait for the other stages to be completed.
Exampleton Basic Village on October 13th, 2017 11:19 AM EST
I'll check out the rest of the Better Village Project as well.
As of the command blocks, it's probably something like:
playsound master note.harp @a
playsound master note.bass @a
and so on. Has the same effect as using note blocks, except players punching them won't distune them.
Better Church (Basic) on October 13th, 2017 11:15 AM EST
Hope you don't mind a perfect stranger throwing in his ideas, what mods do you use? If Ruins is not in the mix, I'd recommend you adding it in. It adds new structures to the world gen, that are defined by template files in its resource directory. There's many really good structures in the default content, including some quite savage dungeons. And if you look for the really mindblowing stuff, check out the content packs of some people. Put it all together to have incredible dungeons auto-generate, and then add some structures from around the community into your map.
It's quite easy to test certain structures if you use Customized worlds with normal structures turned off, and put that single template file into mods/resources/ruins/generic. That way, you can pick the very best structures for your quest world.
I've discovered Ruins some years ago, and dungeon brawling is what I spend most time on in Minecraft ever since.
Jungle Temple on October 13th, 2017 11:08 AM EST
Your whole "Other creations by" section is filled with your beacons. They're pretty good, unless you compare them with what else you made. Then they totally fade away.
Upgraded village library #2 on October 13th, 2017 10:54 AM EST
EDIT: And some spawners of course.
Functioning Mine on October 13th, 2017 10:46 AM EST
Good job. I'll most probably still change it to look abandoned, and fill it with loot.
Functioning Mine on October 13th, 2017 10:46 AM EST
Not bad either though. Fits into the customized village near the spawn of a private map of mine.
Upgraded Village Church on October 13th, 2017 10:42 AM EST
Planning to use this in an offline map that's all about dungeon brawling. I'm not keeping a list who to credit as I never meant to publish it, but when it's done I can still post it here if you like.
If I happen to post it here, a book in your inventory will say the map features stuff from "many unknown creators" ;-)
Peaceful Spawn on October 13th, 2017 10:40 AM EST
EDIT: You've done the tricky part, after all. The rest isn't hard to come up with.
Giant Tree Spawn on October 13th, 2017 10:31 AM EST
Heh, even non-server users like me have a good use for that! Just thinking how to make a way up there from the ground. But I'll probably come up with a fitting staircase design!
Giant Tree Spawn on October 13th, 2017 10:29 AM EST
I can perfectly imagine this above a Stronghold entrance.
Ancient Stones on October 13th, 2017 10:23 AM EST
That sounds perfect for my large map jam-packed with dungeons!
Ancient Temple of Old Kings on October 13th, 2017 10:19 AM EST
I'll also test on another map, if it suits the purpose of my map at all. From the screenshots, it looks a bit too undecorated below ground.
Stonehenge secrets on October 13th, 2017 10:16 AM EST
EDIT: When having no loot at all, structures are again OK for a Dungeon Brawling map, being mainly decoration then. It's only bad if they have free loot inside. (However, structures with free loot are fine for other purposes.)
Lucasgold Temple (Desert version) on October 13th, 2017 10:13 AM EST
Has no loot or quests, but looks impressive.
Lucasgold Temple (Desert version) on October 13th, 2017 10:10 AM EST
It's fairly easy:
1) Place on ground, like any structure. If it's already on ground level, stop here.
2) Do //undo.
3) Place again, one block lower than last time.
4) Repeat until it's on ground level.
Stonehenge secrets on October 13th, 2017 10:08 AM EST
Ooookay, there's that huge thing below ground. Placing that with WorldEdit will be tricky. I think best is proceding with trial and error, like I did for those Airship Instant Structures.
Actually, I won't even need to use the world backup technique, WorldEdit has //undo after all.
Stonehenge secrets on October 13th, 2017 10:05 AM EST
Hm. An interesting take on the underwater temple. It has nothing of the dungeon-ish building it used to be, having become more like a home. Sadly, that's why it's not suitable for my purposes.
Altered Underwater Temple on October 13th, 2017 09:56 AM EST
EDIT: I know you never said it were fitting for that. Only justifying why I don't download. (No idea why I do that, no one would have noticed, but nevermind.)
Great Hall of Diamond and Gold on October 13th, 2017 09:53 AM EST
Nice, but not very suitable for a treasure hunt map where structures should have some challenge before they let you get to the loot.
Great Hall of Diamond and Gold on October 13th, 2017 09:51 AM EST
Your criticism may be justified, but giving 0 stars because of such little issues is really nitpicking. Especially since you do that at all of his buildings. It also gives the impression that you're hunting him, guess everyone knows what I mean by that. You jealous or something?
Egipt pyramid on October 13th, 2017 09:47 AM EST
Will probably be interesting to decorate with piston stuff. I guess in order to put them in I'll have to edit the walls to be 2 blocks thick, though. However, I'll first use it pretty much as-is except filled with a bit of loot.
Sandstone Pyramid with Maze on October 13th, 2017 09:41 AM EST
Good job on the textures, but I think it will also look good enough with good ol' Sphax.
Pyramid of Giza on October 13th, 2017 09:29 AM EST
EDIT: That probably sounds as if I wouldn't believe it's your first build. I do. I'm just really, really impressed.
Nether Temple on October 13th, 2017 09:26 AM EST
Oh wow. A first build, of a quality many wouldn't build at after years of Creative. You're definitely very talented!
Nether Temple on October 13th, 2017 09:24 AM EST
A bit against the spirit of this page, providing only a world save and no schematic. But it's OK, I'll export it on my own ;-)
Ender Temple on October 13th, 2017 09:22 AM EST
Looks pretty cool, and definitely has lots of room for a crazy maze.
Schematic #8842 on October 13th, 2017 09:14 AM EST
Looks like a good base for a maze thingy. Definitely worth a shot.
Empty pyramid on October 13th, 2017 09:10 AM EST
Looks interesting, even though it's not completely finished according to the comments. It will certainly fit amazingly into my Dungeon Brawling map!
Pyramid Adventure on October 13th, 2017 09:05 AM EST
The pistons should open up just fine unless the redstone didn't get pasted properly, because there's lots of people it worked for. There's a button next to the entrance. When you click it, the blocks in front of you should first retract into the wall and then be pulled aside.
Dungeon's Tree on October 13th, 2017 08:59 AM EST
EDIT: Sorry for backseat moderating, but this guy seems to not have understood the substantial thing I mentioned.
Dungeon's Tree on October 13th, 2017 08:53 AM EST
This page is primarily for hosting schematics, even though some world saves are available as well. If you prefer world saves over schematics, I'd recommend MinecraftForum or PlanetMinecraft.
Dungeon's Tree on October 13th, 2017 08:52 AM EST
It should be where you placed it. If you didn't pay attention to that, I'd recommend putting it in again. In case you're lost with it, there's docs on using schematics linked near every download.
I hope you didn't try to open it like a normal map? That would be a little embarassing for someone who explicitly searches for schematics ^-^'
Dungeon's Tree on October 13th, 2017 08:50 AM EST
Looks both cool and 1.8 compatible. (In fact, that might even have been made back in 1.7 or earlier!) I'll use this in my Dungeon Brawling map.
Pyramid Dungeon on October 13th, 2017 08:39 AM EST
Seems likely to work in 1.8. I'll try it out.
Generally, the information about the minimum version needed would be very useful. I hope it gets added to all schematics at some point!
Nether Fortress on October 13th, 2017 08:07 AM EST
So this doesn't work with 1.8. Nice to know in advance for once! I'll actually try to get it to work, will take some fiddling with the commands for the spawners I guess...
As of why I use 1.8, some mods I use (Lucky Blocks, if I'm not totally mistaken, and I think also Ruins and GraveStone) aren't updated to 1.9 or higher yet.
Nether Fortress 2.0 on October 13th, 2017 07:58 AM EST
