Description

Better Village Project

I have begun a new series of builds focused around the beloved villages of the testificates. My plan is to rebuild each type of building over again and make drastic improvements in the aesthetics as well as the functionality of each building. The first installment will include the five most recent rebuilds I have done and when I have completed all of the buildings I will be releasing a functional village build including all of them arranged within the village.

When I say "functional" what I mean is that the game will recognize these as valid village buildings and as such each build I post will be devoid of exterior doors. Once you have placed this build where you would like inside your own functional village then you may add the exterior doors and watch as the population of your village swells a bit in response!

Lastly, you may notice the descriptor of (Basic) has been included above. This is because I plan on building four stages of each building; Basic, Standard, Improved and Grand. Each of these build packs will be interchangeable and all will be functional village buildings at their release. This should provide you with plenty of variety of a similar build style so you can build your own custom villages which are Minecraft valid :)

Better Church

This small church is packed with detail! Inside you will find pews awaiting Sunday visitors, a room in which the local cleric sleeps and even a crypt below the sanctuary. Every morning the church bells toll to start the new day (this does not use note blocks but instead a simple array of command blocks) and awaken the townsfolk.

The immaculately kept grounds feature a five plot cemetery scattered with wildflowers and roses, all fenced in with a hand-hewn oak fencing. This church makes an excellent religious centerpiece for any small hamlet or village you may be planning.

Please feel free to use this however you wish. Simply place a sign somewhere on the build acknowledging me as the builder. If you do use this build, please rate it and if you download it please let me know in the comments how you feel about the build or if you have any issues with it whatsoever. If there is an issue with this or any of my builds I will immediately attempt to rectify it and reupload it as soon as I possibly can.

Finally got it placed and saved the command block settings.. It don't work in Paper version Java 1.20.1 BUT here they are

I'll check out the rest of the Better Village Project as well.
As of the command blocks, it's probably something like:
playsound master note.harp @a
playsound master note.bass @a
and so on. Has the same effect as using note blocks, except players punching them won't distune them.
