Description

Better Village Project

I have begun a new series of builds focused around the beloved villages of the testificates. My plan is to rebuild each type of building over again and make drastic improvements in the aesthetics as well as the functionality of each building. The first installment will include the five most recent rebuilds I have done and when I have completed all of the buildings I will be releasing a functional village build including all of them arranged within the village.

When I say "functional" what I mean is that the game will recognize these as valid village buildings and as such each build I post will be devoid of exterior doors. Once you have placed this build where you would like inside your own functional village then you may add the exterior doors and watch as the population of your village swells a bit in response!

Lastly, you may notice the descriptor of (Basic) has been included above. This is because I plan on building four stages of each building; Basic, Standard, Improved and Grand. Each of these build packs will be interchangeable and all will be functional village buildings at their release. This should provide you with plenty of variety of a similar build style so you can build your own custom villages which are Minecraft valid :)

Better Two Story Large House

This grand two-story home features a full kitchen, two bedrooms and a plush couch in the front sun room. this home also includes a servant's entrance that leads into the kitchen directly and the grand enterance includes a well lit mud room and dividing door to the full living space. guests are asked to leave their shoes in the chest in the mudroom to prevent dirt from soiling the hand polished hard oakwood floor.

the upstairs hosts the master bedroom and the childrens room with space for a growing family. the master suit with its kingsized bed abuts a window with a planted garden box and houses a small personal Library.

Thank you JogiLukas! I am actually working on several things at the same time right now which will be posted as they are completed. With the ADD that I suffer from, I find it difficult to work constantly on one project to completion so I will probably be uploading content in bursts like I did with this village project. Secondly, I am waiting for this community to provide me with feedback on all the segments of this village pack so I can take that feedback into consideration when building the next level of buildings for the Better Village Project.

If you wouldn't mind taking a look at the rest of the pieces and giving me solid feedback on them in the form of a rating and comment, I would very much appreciate it :)

Love the work so far. Thought it was funny that you also suffer from the ADDed benefit of the multitasking cures.
Was wondering what resource pack you used. Keep up the great work.

I am currently using Pure BDcraft from Sphax. (http://bdcraft.net/) I find it to be a nice pack to look at and very well polished. I also have on occasion used the conquest pack from time to time but it is occasionally a bit taxing to look at unfortunately. As for the ADDed benefit of multitasking... I never really thought of it that way :) It is sometimes bothersome when I am working on a project and my focus shifts to something else; but that is why my profile has an up to date list on the projects I am working on so I can let everyone know that I have not vanished from here lol. It also helps me keep track of what I am working on as my world list is a bit crazy now and again.
