Description

My 3 year old son and I both enjoy watching DanTDM over at The Diamond Minecart. As both a tribute to Dan and as a gift for my son's 3rd birthday last year, I decided to recreate and improve the TDM Labs.

In honorable fashion I offered the reconstructed and improved lab to Dan via both email as well as comments in his videos and discussion board on his channel but recieved absolutely no response from him. I figured now that I am posting content to this website I could give all of you a chance to wander the upgraded complex or drop it into your world and have fun with it!

To the left I have also included a YouTube video from The Diamond Minecart channel which heavily features the lab so that if you are unfamiliar with it you can see what it is this build is based upon.

I am trying to build this in my 1.8 world using the Custom NPC mod to build the schematic for me. The structure never completely builds. there's a big chunk of missing blocks throughout the build. Seems all Quarts Pillar blocks are missing, and possibly others. Any advice?

Here's what I end up with:

The first thing I would check is to see if the mod has issues with other building containing the same blocks. If it does then it is an issue with the coding. The schematic I uploaded was generated using mcedit so it may be a formatting issue as well. I assume the Custom NPC mod allows you to create a schematic file somehow so perhaps you could load this build in with mcedit and then add the schematic to the mod using its own interface?

This is how I would approach the issue myself, hope it helps!

Downloaded this for my son. Some of the items never made it in to my 1.7.10 world for some reason (paintings?) but it is an impressive piece of work and just waiting to be filled with awesome. In my case dinosairs from the fossils & arch. mod. Thanks for this uploader.   by douglasamcintosh

I am glad this build fit your needs! I was pretty happy with how it turned out myself :) Did you find the secret place within the build? You would need to look around a bit to find it if your not as familiar with the original build. If you did let me know but don't say where it is! I would love for people to find it on their own! :)
