Description

Series 1 - Modern City Housing and Infrastructure - Designed using Minecraft 1.6.2 vanilla.

A mauve-colored, fully furnished modern house for use in cities, towns, etc. The house consists of 3 floors; main, upstairs and basement. An attic exists but is inaccessible. 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room, recreation room. The basement comes with a crawlspace to give it more of a realistic feel.

- 4-block high ceilings.
- Uses Redstone Lamps as lighting fixtures.
- Does not use torches.
- Does not use enough lighting to prevent mob spawning.

Embellishment Ideas: Paintings on the first/second floor hallways, item frames with glass panes in them for computer monitors and oven doors.

I now know why you mention the glass panes in item frames furdabip, because they don't come through in the secematic process as entities rather than blocks and need to be replaced.
It always amazes me how people use the items of Minecraft in the most ingenious of ways and I probanly never would have thought of using these as oven and washing machine doors and computer monitors despite having played Minecraft for over three years.
I put a few extra lights and a glowstone block in the shed just to discourage the creepers but I love it, it really has the feel of a house in Belgium or the Netherlands. Love the furnace with the redstone block inside too...
