I make creations for the world I am in at the time. I cannot remove or delete anything to suit one person. The tweaking of a schematic is done by the end user or downloader of the schematic. With most of the work done, I think you can delete a layer of dirt on your own. As for the platform on top, it was meant to be an observation tower, low enough where you can see and lit enough to keep mobs from spawning.
