...so it was long time ago, when i created this one.
I can remember a mechanism to close and open something like a gate on the path from the houses in top of the hill, to the Mine-Building.
The switch should be in the cellar of one of those houses.

Yes, this was the intension, when building this one (and my other buildings)
There are a lot of creations out there, which are too big to fit in standard game measures.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you.

the last work on this was saved with 1.8.8.
I Use MCEdit 1.3.2.0 for the extraction
Did you rotate it?
Everything was functional when I inserted it to an other map.

The underground structure should be a kind of ancient neather research complex. Barracks, some labs, a smith, maybe they sacifice neather creatures in the small underground temple.
The "one-ways" are for security reasons, if something goes wrong with the portal ;)

I just tried to adopt some specific points of the medieval castles here in Germany, which differs from the towers you can find in Scotland or the Fortifications from later centuries.

So thank you for the comment. It makes me proud that this castle find a good resonance.

Its like an old fashioned wooden ship. For example a "Galeone" - with a balloon instead of sails.
The Cabin with the bed is in the back.
The second picure shows the view of the capitain or navigator in driving direction over the maindeck to the front...
