Michan Center Consert Hall, Arena and Arboretum
The Michan Center Arena and Arboretum showcases a concert hall with a ___ block center stage surrounded on 4 sides by plentiful stadium seating. There are 4 bars on the ground floor and 4 ballrooms overlooking the oval stage. All of this is overshadowed by the natural lighting provided by the 200 block dome window. Downstairs you’ll find 16 conference halls all numbered and color-coded by size. You’ll be sure to find the perfect setting for any meeting, party or convention.
Outside you’ll find two parking lots, also numbered and color-coded. Following the paths around the grounds you’ll find many individual parks celebrating both nature and music. You’ll find a secluded picnic area, a marina, and if you have kids check out Kinder park or take them to the playground. There is something for everyone.
The whole area is lighted and dotted with unique patterns and pixel art. These have been inspired from textiles, bead work, nature, different cultures and the artwork of influential pixel artists. Be sure to keep sufficient space and time available to see it all!

Thank you! I enjoy knitting patterns and found I'm not so great at architecture so I went with what I know- a simple building with lots of patterns. |
