This is a colossal (400+ blocks long) display piece intended as a Minecraft counterpart to the HMS Celestia built in StarMade (https://imgur.com/a/40koF). The idea of the ship is that of a distant-future vessel where most or all of its technology is incredibly advanced, lending itself to smooth lines and a somewhat cryptic layout. Most players find the wings breathtaking, and it does well as a central piece in a server. It is not mobproof and should be put in a mobproof region or a peaceful map.
Built on the Project Genesis server (mcgenesis.net:25564) in the Creative map using the default texture pack. You can log in and go directly to the Creative map to tour the ship (includes flight!).
FAQ:
Q. Why are there no doors?
A: One, they don't work with the design (structural). Two, I didn't feel doors fit with a vessel this advanced (conceptual).
Q: I can't tell what anything is supposed to be!
A: As I said, the concept is hyper-advanced technology; most of the systems are intentionally very cryptically designed to give an illusion of complexity or sophistication through unfamiliarity.
Q: Can I use this?
A: That's why it's here. Please give credit where it's due (I.E. put my name on it somewhere).
Q: Seems you thought this out- so what's up with the wings?
A: The wings are part of the ship's main gun and serve as energy collectors- this is why you see glass blocks around the wings that increase in frequency near the body of the vessel (more inflow of energy). They funnel into the central protoss-esque crystal which powers the main gun.
Q: You're a nerd.
A: That's not a question, strawman. It's also true!
As with all my pieces, there are gold blocks at the corners of the WorldEdit box to assist in easy moving once you've placed it. Be sure to remove them when you're done.
Edit: Added a Dynamap photo from the server to show just how large it is. Hint: Those are full-size jungle trees beneath it.
Yo, I built this ship with schematica, looks great. I've also made a fan art pic of it, I can send it to u if u want |

Irony time. I'm going to import this schematic into Starmade. Deal with it. Proper credit will be given. |

Are the trails on the back ice or something else? I would be placing this in a plains biome. |

I may be a bit late, but how long did this masterpiece roughly take to build? |

This is amazing! I love the mysterious futuristicness! How did you put in those nether portal blocks without a long side? |

Great Build! My friend and I featured it on our build review show Minecraft Super Builds. We loved the build but the lack of a way inside made us miss a few things that we had to add in later. I know that it's futuristic but making redstone doors would be good because they would follow the theme. Good luck and I hope you get many votes you can join the hall of fame! |
