Set the repeater going into the comparator back to 1. This should increase the range and fire rate as well as the reliability at the cost of ammunition.

Functional Redstone Lighthouse

you need to start with the track piece on top of the blocks first then place the angle pieces then the flat pieces on the floor. After that go back and break the tracks on top of the blocks
