Hello! Unfortunately, it does not work as-is on 1.8 because this farm uses the Auto-Crafter, which was introduced in version 1.21.
However, if you don't use the auto-crafting portion and simply collect the raw resources (or craft them manually), the core iron farm mechanics can still work! Otherwise, you will need version 1.21 or newer to use the full automatic setup.
