Fox Plaza (Nakatomi Building DieHard)
“Mayday, Mayday! Anyone! Terrorists have seized and Nakatomi building and are holding 30 or more hostages! I say again, unknown number of terrorists, six or more, armed with automatic weapons at Nakatomi, Century City... Somebody answer me”…… John McClain, Die Hard!
OK...Kind of! Well, it’s really a replicate of the Fox Plaza build. A 35-story, 493-foot skyscraper in Century City, Los Angeles, California where many movies have been filmed there, the most infamous, DIE HARD (Who wants Twinkies???). So, 35 stories in Minecraft, close enough….not really (like all major league sports, there a cap in Minecraft too)! This luxurious tall skyscraper stands out with a mixture of polished granite and black stained-glass windows, as it soars into the clouds. I apologies to all Los Angele’s and those that work there, I have never been to this building and have brought some of my own touches to the inside of the build. So, please don’t degrade my rating because of this (pretty please)! Ground Floor is at height 63.
There are 4 Elevators (Red/White/Blue) Floors 1 thru 16. Green 1 thru 19. Or you can take the stairs.
This was a fun building to build for me (because of the movie) and maybe you can hang John McClain on a firehouse outside the building in your world, or you can have him run through all the glass on the computer floor (17th). But then again, you can have him save all the employees on the roof at the Helicopter pad ("There coming back down. Blow the roof") or save his wife at the Vault on Floor 19th. In any event, enjoy the building. Just like the movie, I have left some floors unfinished! Enjoy another one of my creations and please, I love comments and don’t forget to vote: Good or Not Bad!
