Here is my rendition of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the 7 Ancient Wonders of the World. This version was inspired by one artist’s interpretation from the video posted on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kfg1YE-BqTc, along with some of my own additives. The gardens stretch over 7 layers, towering high into the clouds and is footed at the base of the Mine Craft Rivers. Plenty of water falls, rivers, and aqueducts (tunnels) carry water from one tier to the one below. Miles of Garden paths, rest areas, bridges, and stairs to climb, all carved out with a combination of Acacia Wood and Sand Stone. All illumination during the night. Thousands of flowers and trees blanket each layer (Change them if you want-good luck with that one). Ground level 1 and level 2 have entrances from North (pictured) and South. Level 3 is only accessible from Level 4, down the stairs on the East and West sides. Levels 5 and 6 can be accessed by the stairs at one of the 4 corners. Top Level 7, only from Level 6.
Words of warning: (1) Sunflowers point only to the EAST (F3). If you Import this North-facing, schema into your world differently, the Sun Flowers will not look good where they are planted. (2) Import this is a nice Rainy, Jungle like area or bad things will happen to the garden (No snow please).
As always, it’s BIG (Like all my other postings). The Base is at the Minecraft river level.

I'm using the latest version of MineCraft (1.9.4) I used McEdit Version 1.5.2.1 to export the schematic. Hope this helps. Also have a very powerful Core i7 extreme to 32gig of memory! |
