Yes It is very efficient as a defense wall.. This can be used as a normal wall like shown or used with water...( Can also be used as a regent wall)

This creation is good for faction/skyblock servers

All you have to do is create more layers..

Again I apologize for making only one layer but I did this so people can fit this on there island for skyblock or there base for factions.
