Hi guys! Nathan here with another vehicle schematic and today's schematic is a tank from World War Two: The Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. E (Sd.Kfz. 181) A.K.A. the Tiger.
The Tiger I was a heavy tank which was introduced in 1942 and had 1347 of these machines produced at the end of the war. This tank was superior in design and pushed the boundaries of armoured warfare and forced the Allies to design better tanks. Until late-1944, none of the Allied tanks had the reach and/or firepower to successfully disable a Tiger, at least before the introduction of new models, up-gunned Sherman Firefly and the introduction of the M26 Pershing, and on the Russian side, the T-34/85 and the IS-2. This thing was a BEAST!
