Description

The Santa Fe Depot located in Gainesville Texas was built in 1902 by The Gulf Coast & Santa Fe Railroad. This train station was deeded to to the community in 1981 after a flood almost destroyed it. In 2001 the train station was fully restored. This depot comes furnished with a dinning area, kitchen, underground storage, passenger waiting area, fireplace and 4 rooms on the 2nd floor. The tracks in the photo were put in after the schematics was made. Please enjoy a part of my community history.
