This was originally built to be my main base of operations on a survival map back around Beta 1.8. The schematic here has been tweaked in creative/mcedit to "improve" the aesthetics. The outside shell is made with clean/cracked/mossy stronghold bricks. The entire crater is lit with redstone lamps to keep mobs from spawning, and the top is lit with glowstone "light posts" so that mobs cannot spawn on top either! The inside is fully lit as well and includes a nether portal, living space, storage area, etc. Though it's not an "official" temple, it wouldn't take long to fix the outside to cover the "modern" parts though; I left it as is so it could be used as a base or mysterious floating temple. Place it in the ground in a semi-flat area or remove the temple from the crater and put it anywhere; make sure to include air and water when importing! Feel free to modify it as you please, of course.
