Description

Hi All. I made this project for a build contest for planet minecraft.
The terrian was not made by me. It was made by:OliverFrenchie, iRapp, Lentebriesje. here is a link if you want to download the starter map. http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/official-life-on-mars-starter-map/

Great build. I placed it far out over the void in the middle of nowhere. I can see the work in it and understand why some buildings are empty. It did cause some annoying lag for some unknown reason, presumably its sheer rendering complexity and the fact my computer ain't that "crash-hot"..
I did find some rooms and mezzanines that were not accessible except in creative so I carefully added stairwells without altering the look and feel of the place. Found the "BIG BOSS' Office" ...Cool! So the social "pecking order" made it to Mars too!
Now I just need to extend the roads beyond its edges.

for this map i worked non stop for two weeks and was doing 48 hour building sessions and then sleep for one day get up and do another 40-48 hours.Did this for two weeks to get it done.

I spent a lot of my time just flying around trying to work out where buildings should go and what type of buildings should go there.When i started the map i made a massive lazer in the middle but i removed it because it was to chunky looking when the rest of the building was smooth.
