A haunted Gothic fortress-city for Minecraft Java Edition, built to dominate a landscape. Three walled rings step up toward a cathedral-palace whose central tower reaches about 215 blocks. Deepslate and blackstone masonry is lit from within by orange glass, shroomlights, lanterns and jack-o’-lanterns.
Size: 300 × 224 × 300 blocks, roughly 3.4 million blocks.
Highlights
Three defensive rings. Each has crenellated walkways, glowing arrow slits, a portcullis gatehouse and about 100 towers in square, round, octagonal and hex shapes, nearly all with spires.
Central cathedral-palace.
Exterior: a spire cluster, steep nave roof, flying buttresses and gargoyles. A giant glowing jack-o’-lantern sits above the pointed portal, with a rose window over it.
Interior: entrance hall, vaulted great hall, throne room, library with a secret chamber, witchcraft lab, kitchens, chapel, armory, war room, royal chambers, pumpkin hall and ritual chamber.
Central tower: a spiral stair runs its full height, past an observatory and bell chamber.
Underground. A crypt, catacombs, a hidden treasure room and a dungeon with cells, a guard room and storage.
Bridges. A 180-block arched viaduct across the north, with links to the central tower and between the walls.
Grounds. A fountain plaza with a pumpkin sculpture, a graveyard with mausoleums, a village with houses, stalls and a stable, haunted gardens, dead trees, and glass-fronted lava falls on the outer wall.
Best for: a creative-mode world, a cinematic or server landmark, or an adventure map. It reads best at night with fog or shaders.
