This is a remake of the broadcasting tower in hilversum. it is 96 blocks tall and has a nice view. it even has an interior with like 8 floors you can decorate! It is now including more satellite dishes, an extra steel platform, and iron doors instead of copper ones.
The first 70-meter-high steel broadcasting tower on Insulindelaan was built in 1958–1959 for television transmissions. This tower succeeded a temporary television tower built in 1955 in Bussum. At the time, the studios in Bussum were connected to the tower in Hilversum via coaxial cables. In 1973, commissioned by the PTT (the national postal and telecommunications service), the steel tower was replaced by the current concrete structure. In 2001, the 142-meter-high tower was extended to 196 meters by adding a steel lattice mast. This height increase was necessary for the introduction of digital television.
