Description

A massive Gothic cathedral rising from the center of a lush floating island, built from dark blackstone and deepslate with every roof surface and spire covered in vivid teal-green oxidized copper. The enormous central dome is ribbed with concentric copper bands converging toward a single dominant spire, surrounded by dozens of smaller copper-tipped spires of varying heights bursting from the roofline and flanking towers. The dark stone walls are densely detailed with buttresses, arches and relief work, the teal copper accents lighting up the entire silhouette against the sky. The island below is blanketed in tall spruce forest pressing right up to the cathedral walls, with grass terraces, scattered boulders and winding paths carved into the hillside. The jagged earth-and-stone underside tapers beneath, completing the image of a sacred stronghold adrift in the heavens.
