Description

A towering Gothic cathedral in dark grey stone rises from the center of a lush floating island, surrounded entirely by dense conifer forest. The structure is an overwhelming cluster of vertical elements — clustered buttresses, needle-thin spires of varying heights, and a massive central dome covered in concentric rings of carved stone detailing, all converging toward a single dominant spire at the top. Every surface is densely textured with relief work, leaving almost no flat stone visible. The island beneath is entirely blanketed in tall spruce and oak trees that press right up against the cathedral walls, with scattered boulders and grass terraces visible at the edges. The jagged earth-and-dirt underside of the island tapers below, giving the whole scene the feeling of a hidden sacred place, lost in the sky.
