Vladimir Badad was a graduate of Moscow Architectural Institute who pursued his careers in one of the Mosstroj’s studios. This organisation worked on designing Moscow’s suburban districts. This particular house was studio’s “experimental” project built by the Ministry of Medium Machine Building that also produced nuclear warheads, because of it people call it “Nuclear Plant”. The building stretches for almost a half kilometre and has 14 Floors, three of which are occupied by retail while the rest accommodated 980 flats. The walls of the house are angled at 87° or 93° so that it would survive an earthquake despite them never happening in Moscow.
