*** Wow, this build made it into the Minecraft Schematic's newsletter ***

A cavern scene modelled slightly on Moria from Lord of the Rings, although in the end it looked very different. Never got round to finishing the whole build, but i thought I'd upload it anyway. Created it on my own using DukuCraft texture pack light, I recommend using this texture pack to view it as it looks completely different otherwise. There are also tonnes of caves in the map so its great to explore. Feel free to use in anyway you want so long as you acknowledge me and provide a link to here if you can :)

If you don't know where the main build is here’s the coordinates (although you should start standing from the view point of the first photo)

Imported the world with Multiverse, teleported to the above coordinates, nothing is there except desert and the underside isnt a cave system either.

Thanks, its good to hear my maps are getting some use somewhere. I tried to join the server but couldnt connect, I think its becuase Ive updated my MC. Anyway I hope you have fun with it ^-^

Haha! Working on another very large adventure map, so this very large build will be perfect! The name of the map will be the Kingdom of Eternal Darkness and I will be sure to credit you for your build! It will take a free months to complete, but I will try to contact you when it is done. If you'd like you can try playing the whole thing! Not sure if you're into adventure maps, but you've got to start somewhere...

How long and how many blocks (if you counted) did it take you to build this? It looks like it took a lot of effort and is just so amazing to look at! I'm thinking of posting on my blog, if that's alright with you (I'm not taking any credit, of course.)

It's 19,225,760 blocks in total and took about 10 - 20 hours (sorry I can't be more precise it was a long time ago). I would love for you to post it on your blog, just send me a link so I can see it if you do :D

I only play on xbox, is it possible you can upload a schematic or file of it with an original style texture pack? So I can look at it? I was planning to do something similiar to what your pictures look like and was interested in seeing what others come up with. MCEdit won't read the texture pack you did it with.

sorry man, I've got no idea how the xbox mc works so I'm not sure how to help. As for uploalding another file, the map I've uploaded should work with any texture pack although there might be another reason mcedit wont work for you. This map has always had problems with mcedit, it got corrupted for about a year and I couln't even play it, then they updated the skylimit and that allowed me to delete some problem chunks, but I find mcedit still sometimes has problems loading this map.
