Yes, however, if you wanted to trap the unwary player, just make this with iron doors instead. This way they can not escape in time if you have a TNT block underneath.

Wow, this isn't just a watch tower, it's a full blown fortress! Between the chests you can stock with food and weapons, the beds, etc. You can just place someone there for... pretty much forever. It's the perfect height, too!

This is great! I use it as the headquarters building for my military base, with all my storage chests in the extra side room, and all my "operations" (crafting, smelting, etc) happening upstairs. I made a couple modifications to fit my tastes and it's fantastic. Thank you.
