Better Village Project
I have begun a new series of builds focused around the beloved villages of the testificates. My plan is to rebuild each type of building over again and make drastic improvements in the aesthetics as well as the functionality of each building. The first installment will include the five most recent rebuilds I have done and when I have completed all of the buildings I will be releasing a functional village build including all of them arranged within the village.
When I say "functional" what I mean is that the game will recognize these as valid village buildings and as such each build I post will be devoid of exterior doors. Once you have placed this build where you would like inside your own functional village then you may add the exterior doors and watch as the population of your village swells a bit in response!
Lastly, you may notice the descriptor of (Basic) has been included above. This is because I plan on building four stages of each building; Basic, Standard, Improved and Grand. Each of these build packs will be interchangeable and all will be functional village buildings at their release. This should provide you with plenty of variety of a similar build style so you can build your own custom villages which are Minecraft valid :)
Better Large Loft House
This home is built for the Individual or the young couple. Featuring an open loft with desk and open concept floor plan the artist or writer would be right at home here. Its kitchen is fully furnished and has a great deal of storage in the basement as well as a large workbench placed in the center of the foundation. The Interior is carpeted and has blue velvet drapes to offer relief from the morning sun on every window but the one which faces the bed; providing the homeowner with a natural and peaceful way to awaken in the morning and seize the day!

Great work. The tables might look better if it were pistons, but that is just my taste. great idea with the loft. Dont know why i hadn't thought of that yet. |

I am glad that you like this build :) I was thinking about using pistons but the view from underneath threw it off a bit so I didn't go that route. Gates seemed to work well without disturbing the floor so that is why I chose them here.in my Earthship build I recently posted I did use the piston table concept for counter space within the kitchen as that build does not have a basement. regarding the loft, I have always found something deeply appealing to lofts. I'm not quite sure why but I am glad it turned out this well here. |
